The Annual Membership Meeting for the Stage Managers’ Association is being held on Monday, June 3rd, at 3:00pm EST.

The meeting will be held at the Actors Equity Association 14th Floor conference room at 165 West 46th Street, New York, NY. If you plan on attending in person, please be sure to bring identification so that you can sign in at the front desk.  You do not need to be a member of AEA to attend.

Teleconference capabilities are available for those who cannot attend in person.  All members are encouraged to join us for this annual event.

The Meeting Agenda and call-in information will be  published shortly.

Following the meeting we will host an open conversation on Negotiation and Job Definition. What job elements can we actually negotiate in our contracts?  And with that in consideration, what does a stage manager actually do?  Why are we so reluctant to create a job description for ourselves?
