Conferences & Webinars
One-day or multi-day conferences are offered from time to time at low to no cost to our members and the industry as a whole at sites across the country. Often these are titled “A View from the Wings” accompanied with a subtitle but these conferences/symposia all have the goal of gathering stage managers and other professionals in the industry to discuss various topics throughout the course of the event.
The SMA also presents webinars, online discussions/forums, and in person lectures which any member is welcome to propose and host. Often these events are recorded for SMA members to view after the event. Please visit the Videos page to view current offerings.
To plan for a conference, webinar, online discussion/forum, or lecture in your area, fill out the form below and someone will be in contact to help you with the process. The SMA will provide event registration, SWAG (for in person events), and underwrite the costs for your event. In return, we ask that you keep the SMA branding (Click here for logos) in the forefront of your event and that we work together to secure sponsors and detail their benefits.
