One-day or multi-day conferences are offered from time to time at low to no cost to our members and the industry as a whole at sites across the country. Often these are titled “A View from the Wings” accompanied with a subtitle but these conferences/symposia all have the goal of gathering stage managers and other professionals in the industry to discuss various topics throughout the course of the event.
To plan for a conference in your area, go to “Host an SMA Event” page to fill out the form and someone will be in contact to help you with the process. The SMA will provide event registration, SWAG, and underwrite the costs for your event. In return, we ask that you keep the SMA branding in the forefront of your event and that we work together to secure sponsors and detail their benefits.
