Since March 2020, the performing arts industries have undergone significant changes to accommodate the need for physical distancing and prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus.  We, the Stage Managers’ Association, have been excited and energized by the creativity and resilience displayed by all of our colleagues.  As the SMA’s membership encompasses stage managers working in theater, dance, opera, and everything in between, we would like to know how the shift from venue-based live performance to digital performance has affected you.

To that end, we are conducting a survey to assess the impact that the shift towards digital performance is having on our members.
