| Question | Dear friend and theatre colleague, I hope this email finds you well. My name is Veera Laitinen and I am a student on the MA in Stage Management course at Queen Margaret University, Edinburgh. Currently, I am in the middle of my final research project, in which I am looking at stage management for visual and physical theatre (including circus), and I am searching for participants for my postgraduate study. Therefore, I would like to invite you to answer an online questionnaire and I am contacting you as I feel your input will inform the research considerably and sharing industry experience on the topic is much needed. The suitable participant will need to understand the work of a Stage Manager and what this job entails. I welcome answers from Stage Managers and also from Company Managers, and Directors alike, whom have experience in and understanding of visual and/or physical (and/or circus) theatre stage management. The questionnaire takes an average of 15 minutes to answer and is open till 30th November 2019. If you feel that you are not suitable for this study, please share it with your colleagues and other professionals and theatre companies.
